Rip Tie Hair has reached over 1,000,000 people on TikTok and YouTube in just four months.

Rip Tie Hair is a hair tie brand created for active people to keep their hair tangle-free. They wanted to expand their social media presence to include TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube, but lacked the social media knowledge and expertise to set up and run these platforms. They also needed help creating a TikTok Shop to capitalize on the growing market.

The Challenge

Since they didn't have any social media accounts except for Instagram and Facebook, we set up their TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube accounts and advised them through the TikTok Shop set up. Our focus was on slow and steady growth, versus "going viral" since they had limited product and didn’t want to sell out too quickly. After 3 months, we started reaching out to and working with affiliates and UGC creators through TikTok Shop.

The Results

After four months, Rip Tie has sold out of their hair ties 3 times, and socials are now their number 1 revenue generator. They are averaging 150,000 views on YouTube, and over 100,000 views on TikTok. Their Pinterest is consistently getting 20,000 impressions per month.

We started working with Social Moments Marketing in February of 2024, which is notoriously a dead month for e-commerce. Within the first month, we had videos getting thousands of views, when we had been stuck in the hundreds before. Within 30 days, our website saw an increase in both conversion and revenue. Our TikTok shop made its first sales, our traffic from youtube went up 30% and our traffic from Pinterest went up 200%.
